Welcome Friends!

I’ve moved around a lot, and my life and work experiences have led me to this business. My parents were Ugandan diplomats, so they traveled all over the world. During a five-year stint living in the United States, I was born in Syracuse, New York. I was just three months old when we moved back to Uganda where I lived until I returned to America to attend college in New York City.

I studied finance and investment banking because I was fascinated with the world of Wall Street, then I returned to school for an MBA in healthcare administration with plans to either consult or become a healthcare administrator.

I returned to Uganda and started some small businesses, and then began to work with women helping them start and grow micro-enterprises. I quickly realized that nobody was supporting these women either in their personal lives, or by the government, despite the fact that they were responsible for economic growth in their communities. I was shocked at the lack of support, and this got me interested in helping under-represented women and minorities.

I fell in love with an American who was working in Uganda, and we moved back to the United States in 2020 in the middle of the Covid crisis. Working with a contracting firm in Clearwater, Florida made me aware that minorities are not on top of the thousands of government contracting opportunities that are open to them, and they don’t know how to successfully pursue them. My passion now is making government contracting accessible to minorities, immigrants and women.

Not surprisingly, I love to travel and meet new people, and I always have a book or two on my nightstand. I also love to spend time with my family, and our cat Makeda who flew here all the way from Uganda. Yes, I love that name!

If you are a female or minority business owner in the United States and need help accessing and applying for government contracts, I’m your person!
